Rules
Timebid is a public traffic leaderboard. Genuine supporter time builds every position. Keep a listing active to move it up. Only time counted by our server is created.
How ranking works
- Your timer earns whole seconds while this page is in front, connected, and you remain active.
- The one-minute, five-minute, and one-hour races reset at the same time for everyone. The hourly race resets at the start of each hour (UTC).
- The 24-hour and 30-day boards show time earned during those periods and update every five minutes. The Hall of Fame includes every second counted since launch.
- Listings earning time always rank above listings with zero time. In reset races, equal racing scores keep the previous race order.
- A new zero-time listing gets a 72-hour discovery boost. Older zero-time listings rotate once per UTC day so they can still be discovered.
- Each second counts on all six boards at the same time.
- Every listing appears on every board. Each page shows 50 listings. There is no page limit.
- When activity is low, the homepage opens the one-hour board. When activity is high, it opens the five-minute board. It switches only after the current race ends.
- A listing keeps its total supporter-time, clicks, hourly wins, and best rank unless its verified owner sells the accumulated spot.
- This browser remembers the listing it supports. When you return, focus the page and move, click, or type to restart its timer.
- Changing leaderboard tabs only changes the board you see. It does not change how time is counted.
Spot sales
- A verified website or X owner may set a fixed whole-USDT price from the listing detail page.
- LinkedIn listings and direct App Store or Google Play app listings cannot buy or sell spots.
- A completed purchase adds the seller's accumulated time, visits, hourly wins, and best finish to the buyer's current eligible listing. The seller then restarts from zero.
- Buying a spot does not buy the domain, profile, content, supporters, or active sessions.
- A spot is never permanent. Other listings can outpace it through genuine supporter time.
- One atomic Ethereum mainnet USDT payment sends 50% directly to the seller's verified payout wallet and 50% to Timebid. The transfer is applied only after finality.
Listings and supporters
- You can list a public product website, an X handle, a LinkedIn profile or company page, or an app on Google Play or the App Store.
- We ignore website paths, www, and tracking details, so each domain appears only once. Profiles and store apps keep their unique destination.
- LinkedIn posts, feeds, jobs, searches, and other temporary pages are not listings.
- Store searches, categories, collections, and developer pages are not listings. Google Play apps match by package name; App Store apps match by Apple ID, regardless of locale or tracking details.
- Website names and descriptions come from the website and refresh from time to time. Supporters cannot write or edit them.
- Profiles and store apps use public names, descriptions, and images when available. A simple card is used when a platform blocks access.
- No proof of ownership is needed. If a destination is already listed, you support the existing listing and keep its time, clicks, and wins.
- Many people can support the same listing. Their genuine active seconds add together.
- One browser supports one listing at a time. Extra tabs do not multiply time, and only one active supporter per listing is accepted from the same daily-rotating network signature.
- Each browser supports one listing at a time. Switching pauses the old listing. Its time, clicks, wins, and history do not move to the new one.
- Submitting and switching are usually instant. We may temporarily ask for a quick check if bots become a problem.
How clicks work
- Clicking a listing opens that product or profile in a new tab.
- We count the click before sending the visitor to the listing.
- Repeated clicks from the same visitor within ten minutes count once.
Visit breaks
- If your clock is running, visiting someone else's listing protects it for up to 30 seconds while you browse.
- The server starts the break at timebid's redirect. Copying a URL, opening your own listing, or calling the destination directly does not start one.
- You can start one visit break every five minutes. Breaks do not stack or extend each other.
- Return early and normal active timing resumes. Stay away longer and the clock stops after 30 seconds.
- Protected seconds are ordinary active seconds: each one counts on all six leaderboards and is split correctly when a race resets.
Rallies and battles
- Every listing has a public Rally link. Anyone can share it or join it without an account.
- Joining a Rally switches this browser to that listing. The same focus, activity, connection, and visit-break rules still apply.
- A battle lasts exactly 24 hours and starts at the next UTC minute so both sides begin at zero together.
- Battle scores count supporter-time earned during that battle only. The normal leaderboards continue at the same time.
- The same pair cannot start a second battle while their current battle is upcoming or live.
- Battle creation is rate-limited. Hidden or removed listings cannot enter or remain visible in battles.
- Rallies and battles never redirect another listing's traffic, transfer ownership, or sell rank.
Sponsorship
- A sponsor may appear in one clearly labelled space above the leaderboard.
- A sponsor is not a listing. It has no rank, timer, or advantage on any board.
- A sponsor view counts after the space is visible for one second. Repeat views from the same visitor count once per UTC day.
- Repeated sponsor clicks from the same visitor within ten minutes count once.
How active time works
- Keep this tab in front. Moving to another tab stops new time unless you just started a valid visit break.
- Move, scroll, tap, or type occasionally. One minute without activity pauses your clock; interacting with the focused page resumes it.
- Your browser checks in every 10 seconds. If the connection is lost for more than 25 seconds, the timer stops. Missed time is not added later.
Fair play
- Automated activity, scripted browsing, or attempts to simulate a person are not allowed.
- Editing browser data, JavaScript, the timer on screen, or your device clock does not change the server total.
- We limit repeated new listings from the same network to reduce spam. Existing listings can still be supported.
- Timers that look automated may be reviewed or removed to keep the board fair.
